I found the story up until now a little too shallow.
I'll comment a bit on the storyline part, the gameplay part has already been mentioned by others. All in all MOP brings wow back to a place regardless of the endless hours of dailies required to gear at the beginning of the expansion being released, where raiding, pvp, and questing was actually fun. The raid content is give or take heart of fear was pretty cool and different. World bosses are a nice touch regardless to how shady tagging them was in the beginning when no one had a clue what they were doing. Now back to the main top, Mists of Pandaria. I would rather have a big motherfucker punch me in the face repeatedly then level in Vash'jr. The story was rushed, the content was sloppy, the only decent part of it was Firelands and some of the questing zones. Cataclysm was a disaster in my opinion and basically was an expansion from the section of the WoW development that has downs syndrome. WotLK was pretty good as well, implementing Death Knights was fun and the story was really good. The Burning Crusade was a revelation when it came to a sequel with the new race and raids it introduced were awesome. Where I could get in a 40 man group for AQ40 with my guild and listen to some jewish guy from New York about pop a fucking eyeball when someone fucked up. Yeah I've been playing since Vanilla and yeah those were the days.
